Hope in God
Prov 23:18 There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off. (NIV)
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (NIV)
Living in
John 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. (ESV)
God’s joyful expectation
Psalm 16:11 You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. (ESV)
Zephaniah 3:17 For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty saviour. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs. (NLT)
Fulfilled futures

Commentary
Hope is an essential component of life, without which we falter and die. Life is full of things in which we can place our hope, but we are designed to hope in God. In Him our hope is sure. In the same way, God’s Government always produces hope, and through His joyful expectation, fulfilment in every area of life it touches.
